ISTE & SAMR
The Primary Years Programme is an exciting, effective framework for raising the standards for teaching and learning in schools. Nothing good comes easily, however, and tracking formative skill development, learner profile attributes, dispositions, development of conceptual understandings, and knowledge acquisition can be challenging.
As an Educational Technology Coach, it falls to me to make the tracking of technology standards and SAMR levels manageable for my team members.
While bringing ideas to the table for the authentic integration of technology into units of inquiry I also need to keep my records up-to-date in order to plan for effective implementation and further development of the technology program. The table to the right is one simple way of ensuring I am able to do so.
